About Us

OUR FOUNDERS
Late Shri D.K. Mittal
(Founder Chairman)

Late Smt. Santosh Mittal
(Founder Principal)

Great people enlighten their surroundings. They are neither born nor dead. They leave an everlasting impression on the hearts of mankind. We cordially pay homage to such great founders of Schiller Institute Sr. Sec. School - Dr. D.K. Mittal and Mrs. Santosh Mittal. Dr. D.K. Mittal used to say that human life evolves from the phase of childhood to youth and to bring about this transformation is the key responsibility of a school. Mrs. Santosh Mittal always insisted that child's dreams should be realized and turned into reality. She showered the light of knowledge and wisdom in the hearts of under privileged children, recommending the parents to motivate children in developing their creativities on their own.

Though, today they are not amid us, still, their blessings from heaven have always been embracing us. They and their dreams will always cherish our hearts and will guide us till dooms day.

VISION AND OBJECTIVE

“The founders of Schiller Institute had a lofty vision of the school. The aim of the founding fathers of the school was not merely to produce brilliant students but to make them aware of their dignity as human beings and keep them alive of the fact that they are citizens of a free country “tirelessly stretching its arms towards perfection “they wanted to inculcate in children a love for learning, love for outdoor physical activity, a leaning towards the cultural values of the country and over and above a love for moral values. They desired the children to hold high the principles of duty and show the utmost devotion to their motherland. The present administrative body is determined to uphold the vision that was endearing to the founders of the school.

The emblem of the school which is similar to the motto reads thus:

This thought provoking imperative sentence from the hoary wisdom of the Rig veda when translated, needs ‘Let noble thoughts come to us from every side' The implication is that the mind is a receptacle open to noble thoughts that blow in from all corners of the earth. We expect our students to have open minds, capable of assimilating a steady, stream of ideas that have an ennobling effect on the mind. It is on the moral strength of the youth that the future of a nation depends and so at Schiller, top priority is given to education which is basic in nature and lays emphasis on the development of body, mind and soul of the student.

WELCOME TO SCHILLER SCHOOL

Late Mrs. Santosh Mittal and her husband Late Dr. D.K. Mittal desired to dedicate their lives to the service of humanity and with this end in view set up Schiller Institute Sen. Sec. School which is working under the aegis of Schiller Institute Society in 1980. The school prepares students for the All India Senior Secondary School Examination at the end of class x and the Senior School Certificate at the end of class XII under the 10+2 pattern. The School is affiliated to the C.B.S.E. New Delhi . Schiller Institute is an English medium co-educational school which provides quality education on modern lines. Located in the heart of the industrialized city, its imposing structure is in close harmony with nature covered with lush green and in the best posh locality of Ghaziabad . Its modern, technical facilities have to be seen to be believed. The school campus is completely Wi-Fi and boasts of a competent, highly qualified trained staff that is gifted with the latest knowledge and enriched with the latest skills. The teaching faculty of the school is matchless. The silver jubilee celebrations of the school in 2005 were marked by great pomp and ostentation. From 1980 to 2009 is a far cry and the school has undergone incredible changes in all these years.

“ Education is not a vessel to be filled but a Lamp to be lit …..…”

Many schools lay emphasis on information-based knowledge but we do not tread on the beaten track. Though we lay some emphasis on information based education yet we lay substantial emphasis on value-based education. This is done with the intention of bringing about a qualitative transformation in the minds and personality of our students which is best reflected in the results of the school. The first batch class X of CBSE board passed out in year 1992 and the first batch of class XII passed out in the year 1994 . The school is known for its outstanding results in board examinations . And what ensures this success year after year? A systematic approach to teaching, backed by technical improvisations, experienced guidance, giving assignments to students on a regular basis, holding remedial classes for less advanced students and setting goal or target for the student these are some of the ways adopted to improve quality education in our school.
