From the Desk Of the Principal

It is my sacrosanct duty to give top priority to education because education can provide the foundation necessary for a meaningful and purposive life to my students. It is my fervent belief that education will bring students to the threshold of knowledge and as the adage goes, knowledge is power. Power, intellectual and spiritual is the be-all and end-all of life and education certainly unlocks the gates of knowledge to all knowledge to all knowledge-seekers irrespective of their caste, colour or creed.

Keeping the goal of education over and above everything we have named the school ‘Schiller' after Friedrich Schiller, the renowned German educationist. This should not lead one to misconstrue that there is a dearth of Indian educationists or that the names of Indian educationists are uninspiring to us. In naming our school ‘Schiller' we are striving to achieve international standards, despite the fact that our beginning is humble. As Francis Bacon rightly opines that young minds are like natural plants that require preening, it is also my implacable faith that the young saplings can be encouraged to come out with innovative ideas which will help in the exploration of knowledge. The best thing that we can give to a child is liberal education, inculcate in him a sense of responsibility, instill in him noble ideas and create in him a capacity for independent thought.
