Classroom minus teacher – a scientific revolution. Is it possible for a student to grow without a teacher? In this scientific age, my dear friends say, it is possible but I wonder how can a world develop without its parents. Teacher is a word which has a lot of meaning in itself. It means a person who gives students education, who includes good feelings, good manners, moral values into their lives, who puts them on the path of progress, who is always present to make them understand each and everything.
There is a harmonious relation between a teacher and a student. There is a love between them which binds them in an unbelievable manner. Even when it is asked to God that whom should a student worship first, God pointed towards the teacher and replied, “Teacher should be worshipped first as he is the only one who tells students about me”. As this shlok says:
- GURUR BRAHMA, GURUR VISHNU, GURUR DEVO MAHESHWARAHA
GURU SAAKSHAT PARAM BRAHMA TASMAI SREE GURAVE NAMAHA -
From the ancient times, we are following the Guru Shishya parampara. Is this scientific world superior to God? I don’t think so, then how can we consider a classroom minus teacher a scientific revolution? IT’S A CULTURAL LOSS. It’s in our culture to respect teachers, even the ancient Gurus were respected and worshipped by their disciples. Considering a class room without a teacher, we are simply destroying our culture for which we are really proud. The Indian culture because of its uniqueness is adopted in other countries, then how can we Indians forget it?
It’s the teacher who can act as a morale booster, who can inspire the students to bring out the talent which sometimes they hide because of their shyness. The teacher can bring out the best from their students.
To conclude I want to say that it is only the teacher who can recognize the potentials of the students and nurture the students. One should always remember
“KNOW GURU MEANS KNOW GOD WHEREAS NO GURU MEANS NO GOD”
